Comerio helps you order confidently at any restaurant — wherever you are in the world. Here's how it works and how to get help if something isn't right.
How to use Comerio
- Open Comerio on your phone and tap the camera button.
- Scan the menu — take a photo of any printed menu, QR menu page, or chalkboard. You can scan multiple pages for longer menus.
- Tell Comerio about your table — how many people, any dietary requirements (vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies), and your budget if you have one.
- Get your table plan — Comerio recommends what to order across starters, mains, and sides for your whole group.
- Show your waiter card — once you've agreed on the order, Comerio generates a card with your dishes in the local language, ready to hand to your waiter.
Frequently asked questions
What types of menus does Comerio support?
Comerio works with printed menus, photographed QR menu pages, chalkboard menus, and digital menus. It can read menus in any language.
Does Comerio work without a data connection?
Comerio requires an internet connection to analyse menus. A standard mobile data connection is sufficient — it doesn't need WiFi.
How many menus can I scan?
Comerio allows a limited number of free scans. If you reach your limit, you'll see a message explaining how to continue.
What dietary requirements does Comerio support?
Comerio supports common dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut allergies, and halal. You can specify these before scanning or when reviewing your plan.
Is Comerio free?
Comerio offers free scans to try the app. Check the app for current pricing on additional scans.
What languages does the waiter card support?
The waiter card is generated in the language of the restaurant's menu by default. You can also request a specific language from the order screen.
